DESCRIPTION:<p>The Office of Community Health offers the following FREE screenings at our Hanover Park office:</p><p>Diabetes</p><p>Anemia</p><p>Blood Pressure</p><p>Heart Rate</p><p>Body Fat Analysis</p><p>Health Education</p><p>Medication Review</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">February Health Screening Special</span></strong></p><p>Heart disease (which includes conditions such as coronary artery disease, stroke, and heart failure) is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States.&nbsp; Learn about the risk factors, signs, and symptoms for heart disease.&nbsp; On Fridays during the month of February get a finger-stick screening for total cholesterol.&nbsp; HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose are available for a reduced fee of $15.&nbsp; You will receive your results at the same visit.&nbsp; Registration is required.&nbsp;Fasting for 12 hours in advance of test is required.&nbsp;</p><p>All other Community Health Services are offered on Friday’s at the Astor Avenue Office.&nbsp; You must call to schedule an appointment ahead of time to ensure all the supplies needed for your appointment with the nurse are available.</p><p>Please call 630-483-5665 to schedule an appointment for your free screening or other services needed.</p>
