Have you ever wanted to complete a 5k race, but don’t know where to start? Set the 3rd Annual Hanover Township Sprint to Spring 5k on Saturday May 7 as your 5k goal race for 2016. Information provided will be geared towards beginners and for people interested in walking or running. There will be example training schedules to help you get started to cross the finish line on May 7th. Snow on the ground in March? Information on local indoor tracks will be provided. Starting in April, join the Outdoor Walking Club starting at the Izaak Walton Center on Tuesdays and Astor Avenue Community Center on Fridays to continue your walking training outdoors.
