Saturday: May 6
9:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Donation: $2
This month’s selection is Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan to celebrate Asian American Heritage month. Kwan’s debut novel is an outrageously funny tale about three super-rich, pedigreed Chinese families and the gossip, backbiting, and scheming that occurs when the heir to one of the most massive fortunes in Asia brings his ABC (American-born Chinese) girlfriend to the wedding of the season. (goodreads.com) We have a limited supply of books at the front desk to borrow. The movie stars Constance Wu, Henry Golding, and Michelle Yeoh. Rated PG-13 for brief suggestive content and language. Run time 2 hours. (IMBD,com) Light refreshments are served. Registration required.
