Northern Illinois’ Genesee Theater dates back to December of 1927 which makes it perfect for a little haunted history. Since its early days there have been many memorable ghost stories from an unseen laughing girl that can be heard in the aisles, to ghosts in the hallways, to Genesee’s dead founders around stage curtains. Join us to tour the theater and learn a little more about its haunted history. Prior to the tour we will visit the Illinois Beach Resort for your choice of chicken marsala, Yankee pot roast, or vegetable lasagna for lunch. On our way to the theater we will stop at Craken Cakes for a delicious Halloween treat! Registration is required. 630.483.5600.
