Please join us for a monthly support group for informal (family/friend) caregivers. This is a great opportunity to share with others facing similar challenges as well as offer support to others. Caregiver Resource Specialist, Katherine Ackley, facilitates the group. Light refreshments are served. Newcomers welcome! September is an open-discussion group. In October, a community educator from the Alzheimer’s Association is presenting on two topics from their Empowered Caregiver Series: Communicating Effectively and Responding to Dementia Related Behaviors. Registration is encouraged.
