Veterans are invited to a free lunch and a movie, "Rescue Dawn", at the Hanover Township Izaak Walton Center. During the Vietnam War, German-born U.S. pilot Dieter Dengler is shot down over Laos and taken prisoner. Tortured and starved, Dieter resolves to escape with fellow prisoners, Duane and Gene.
