Wilde Lake, by Laura Lippman, will be the October selection. Well-reviewed for Lippmann's skill as a writer and storyteller, this stand-alone novel is the story of a newly elected prosecutor taking on seemingly simple murder committed by a homeless man which turns out to be anything but simple. Registration is required.
