For the month of October, the Office of Community Health is offering Metabolic Syndrome Screenings. Metabolic Syndrome involves the presence of five health conditions that increase your chance of developing heart disease, diabetes, or stroke. Screenings include discounted complete cholesterol, blood sugar, waist circumference measurement, and blood pressure. Fasting for 8-12 hours prior to the appointment is required.
