Hanover Township welcomes anyone in the community who is experiencing mild memory loss or cognitive impairment, as well as their caregivers, to the monthly Memory Café program. In November, join Caregiver Resource Specialist and Board-Certified Music Therapist Katherine Ackley for an interactive music group featuring instrument play, singing, and musical memory games designed to support cognitive skills and social interaction. In December, join us for a special holiday presentation with Pat Gaughan, who sings and plays guitar. For many years, she has performed on the folk circuit, sharing traditional Irish music, folk songs, and original compositions. Her festive presentation features lively music, familiar seasonal favorites, and opportunities for social interaction and active engagement. Registration is required.
